Taka Hayashi second release this season is the DIY Hi VLT LX. His commitment to detailed craftsmanship and unique design continues to be synonymous with the designer’s aesthetic approach. This season, we introduce the Taka Hayashi DIY pack, a hook-and-loop design that allows you to customize the shoes with assorted colors and heritage Vans prints. The DIY Hi VLT LX features pieces from a SK8-Hi® and Half Cab® that you can place on the shoe via hook-and-loop, while the DIY Lo VLT LX features pieces from a Classic Slip-On and Old Skool™. Deco stitching throughout the uppers provides guidelines for where to place the components—or not. It’s up to the creativity of each individual artist. Available at Select Vault Dealers July 1, 2020.
