The second chapter of the Palmistry Guide reaches the Nordic Islands with Iceland being the next adventure. The Vans team, comprised of 3 BMX riders, Matthias Dandois, Justin Fouque and Theo Zannettacci would be the chosen few. Anton Örn Arnarson, their Icelandic guide, would follow them throughout this second expedition.

Our three riders went exploring this extraordinary land where beauty and strength both emerge from the natural elements. Nature at its purest, Matthias, Theo and Justin have touched, visited and rode it.

The riders learn to adapt to extreme conditions, but to the rhythm of this still wild country. The Icelandic landscapes act as an incredible source of inspiration allowing the riders to dip through the excessive magnitude, typical Scandinavian architecture but also through opportunistic meetings.

They've visited mind-blowing spots, including the carcass of an aircraft from the US Army crushed for decades on the Sólheimasandur beach to vast places where the immensity takes over the man.

"What struck me when you get out of Reykjavík are the incredible landscapes! Nothingness out of sight, but beautiful nothing. I will never forget that moment " explains Vans Team rider Matthias Dandois.
